Route Type: Circular

Excursion Theme: Nature, wine culture, history.

Route Length: 350 km round trip.

Excursion Duration: 10–12 hours (depending on the duration of visits to wineries and tourist attractions).

Excursion Beneficiaries: Domestic tourists, foreign tourists, youth, oenologists.

Excursion Goal: To familiarize tourists with the diverse cultures that have existed in the southern region of Moldova over the centuries, the local inhabitants' way of life, and the hospitality of the Gagauz ethnicity. Tourists will also learn about the history of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia from ancient times to the present, as well as the traditions, uniqueness, and achievements in the winemaking sector of the area.

Excursion Program Includes: Visiting museums and holy sites in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, the "Tomai" wine factory, the church and museum in Cazaclia, museums and holy sites in Taraclia, and the Museum and Windmill in the village of Beșalma.

Tourist Attractions Included in the Excursion Program:

• Comrat: Regional Museum of History and Local Studies in Comrat, "John the Baptist" Cathedral.
• Tomai: "Tomai Vinex" wine factory.
• Ceadâr Lunga: Museum of History and Ethnography, distant viewing of the "Ceadâr Lunga Ravines" Natural Monument.
• Cazaclia: Church dedicated to "Saint George the Great Martyr," village museum, "Cazaiak – Vin" winery.
• Taraclia: Museum of Cultural Heritage of the city of Taraclia, "Saint George" Church, "Taraclia" Wine Factory.
• Beșalma: National Gagauz Museum of History and Ethnography "Dumitru Cara Ciobanu," Windmill.

Route Complexity: Travel by vehicle. No increased level of difficulty. There are no significant walking distances required for visiting the tourist attractions.

Clothing: No special equipment is necessary. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.

Transport: Coach, minibus, car.

Transit Localities: Hâncești, Cimișlia.

Accommodation: At hotels such as "Astoria," "Medelian," "Altın Palace" in Comrat, "Randevu" in Ceadâr Lunga, and "Iug" in Taraclia.

Catering: Dining services can be organized at restaurants like "Atlantida" or "Tamrico" in Comrat.
